Could any Man City collector confirm that there was a programme produced for the 16/11/63 Man City v Boro game and also why the game was postponed?

yes there was however i have never seen one and have no idea why it was postponed

'Thanks for your note and interest. There is a programme for this game as I used to have one myself so there's at least one out there. I sold it around 6 years ago. The game was abandoned from memory due to fog. I hope all this helps'

I thought the game was postponed not abandoned as surely if it was abandoned then the original prog would have been sold at the game and so must be widely available. i will do some investigating on this but he probably means game was postponed due to fog.

Rocky if you could reply to Phil asking him how much he sold it for as he keeps a record of how much he has sold every programme for from his collection

There could actually be only one in existance as he also had a Manchester City V Sheffield United 26/12/62 Postponed prog for sale about a year ago but the back 4 pages were missing but when i emailed him about it he was fairly certain it was the only one in existance but i may stand to be corrected from Sharrow blade or other Sheffield United Collectors.

I will also ask all my Fellow MCFC collectors at the Reserves game V Alty on Saturday if any of them have the Boro or Sheff U postponed progs but fairly certain they don't

I am certain you are correct in regard to the game being postponed rather than abandonded for the reasons you stated. Cheers
