I got an Airdrieonians v Aberdeen ( 1-7) 28/09/1963. You can have it for £250 . My guess is two collectors needed this one and the bidding went crazy. The next one that turns up will probably go for 99p

Given the vintage it has to be something unusual. I know in the case of some Irish programmes the following has happened

1) A really bad day and the club decided not to sell the programmes

2) programmes only arrived at half time aka Finn Harps v Bursaspor 1974 ECWC which is by far the rarest european game played in these islands. Only a handful got sold during halftime and nobody knows what happened to the rest.

3) printers with held programmes due to dispute with club - I still need a limerick v longford 1999 that the printers printed but never released. AFAIK nobody ever got a copy. Another collector had better luck when a printer with held a Finn Harps pre-season friendly in the early 90's. He got half a dozen and extracted a high price from me and a few other collectors.

On the Airdrie programme site its down as issue unknown,so could be rare if the Airdrie prog guy is'nt aware of one being published.
