Sorry Footy cant help you with any of those ,but just to say that the Port Vale 19/10/64 away was one of the hardest for me to obtain when compiling my Posh H & As from seasons 63/64 & 64/65 think i payed somthing like £20+ for one to comlpete said season.

Having just finished reading the book Peterborough United Football Club The Official History by (Yore Publications) Andy Groom & Mick Robinson, i am thinking of starting a collection of progs H/A from Poshs Midland League days, but have a feeling these may be hard in obtaining,do you think it is worthwhile.

Great book btw! It does have one or two errors in with dates but nothing too different.

Homes 1952/53 through to 59/60 are fairly easy to get as the Posh crowds were quite large. I have 157 pre league games (mainly first team league), none of which were expensive. The aways are much more difficult and do cost a lot more.

http://www.uptheposh.com/seasons/ is a great website to check. It's a friend of mine and we've been updating for awhile. Should also have the reserve and friendly games on soon.

Thanks for that Jam.I have been on the site before and you were kind enough to send me some data on Peterborough attendences from games of seasons i collect 63/64 & 64/65, was very much appreciated,Yes found book a good read searched for it for a number of years rear and not cheap ?. thing that struck me from that era was the attendances at some of those M/L games amazing.

some hard to get programmes on your list and expensive too, the last Carlisle away 60/61 i saw fetched over £150, the last few Hartlepools away have all fetched well over £100. The other 60/1 are not cheap either and some of the other are alos expensive ones.

I have spare copies of Barrow 10/12/60 (fold) and Workington 29/10/60, creased. Make me an offer but they wont come cheap.

Regarding the pre 60/61 homes and aways, most of the homes are attainable some are single sheet and very rare, most of the away are like rocking horse poo, the issues at Grantham, Wisbech, Kings Lynn and a few other issues are about, but most are very very difficult to find.

The programme for the match v Halifax Town 08/10/1962 sells for around £10 in good condition although i've not seen one for a year or two on ebay or any dealers list,
