As a side issue I'm thinking of collecting the above club progs from pre 1975. They occassionally come up on Ebay but usually way overpriced, and by the ime you add postage work out about £2 each!

So I'm just wondering if anyone has quantities of homes or aways for the above Welsh clubs at reasonable prices. Collection can be arranged iN South Wales ro cut costs.

Or alternatively, anyon know of any specialist Non League dwalers who may have stocks of progs.

Just seen 2 dealers lists who at least do the 70s at 50p each (assuming they've got any!). I know 50s will be expensive so maybe Ebay is the best place to try an pick them up.

I know the Llanelly and Lovells are harder to find and pricier, but Merthyr and Barry (especially aways) should be reasonable.

Maybe I'll save my money and buy more Cardiff stuff then?

I've got Lovells away at Boston in 58/9 for sale.........do you have the fixture in Wales?

No sorry, I foolsihly sold all my Lovells, Merthyr and Barry stuff about 15 years ago. Wish I'd kept it now. I just find those 60s non-league progs far more interesting that the League Clubs. Sorry i can't help.

Love the 50's Welsh non league programmes - as I do Scotland ones as well. The amazing thing is who turns up in them. I've a couple of Llanelly aways in the FACup proper where Jock Stein, who later went on to become manger of Celtic is playing at centre half for them.

I know. I actually played against Ivor Allchurch once. He was playing for either Morriston Town or Pondardawe Athletic, but it was the 70s by then (I was very young). No programme though.

I guess youve spotted it but im sure i saw a Dartford v Barry posted earlier from 66ish?

Thanks Craig, I am watching Ebay at the moment and have picked up a few bargains. It's just that there's not much on there on auction, most is on Buy it Now, and I'm selective about ones with high postage charges too.
