Buyer beware (eBay)

Thought I would bring this up here.

I have found now on quite a few occasions on eBay the the description does not match the picture. I bought an item that I thought was an away when it was a home. The picture was of an away programme while the description was for a home. The seller would not budge blaming me for not checking with him. I will leave you to draw your own conclusions on that, but this was a private seller and I chose not to leave any feedback so that the system would not recognise that the item has been delivered.

Anyway, more recently I have found two more occurences of the image not matching the description and have, in both cases, contacted the seller. So, as I say - buyer beware - and probably best to always check the description to make sure that is what you want and not be fooled by an errant picture.
