EVERTON YOUTH v ENGLAND YOUTH 1960s at NEW BRIGHTON

Can anyone please help with a date for an EVERTON YOUTH v ENGLAND YOUTH friendly played at New Brighton's Tower ground. Large typed single sheet issue with red New Brighton letterhead at the top. Definitely 1960s as Everton included Hurst, Husband, Barnett and Eric Curwen.

Leigh, if you try The Wallasey News they might be able to put you in contact with someone who has got the info you need. I don’t know if you can check the newspaper online? The paper would probably have a match report for the game. Looking at the Everton names l think it is season 1964-65

Thanks Pie. I've found out it is from the 1965/6 season. It was played at NB because Goodison was under water according to the notes. Thanks again.

Leigh, looking at this it looks like someone else couldn’t find an exact date. He remembers it taking place in the Autumn of 1965.
