A bit short notice, but after a long break, there will be a History Day and Programme Fair at Fratton Park on Sunday March 20th 2022.
There will be a display of memorabilia from the latest ongoing project by the Pompey History Society. Memories of the Division One Championship winning seasons, 1948/9 &1949/50. A tour of the display in the directors box walkway (up several stairs) will be available, plus other parts of the ground (not dressing rooms). The tours are free, but if you can make a donation to the PHS. They can be booked in advance (www.eventbrite.co.uk) or on the day.
There will also be a small Programme Fair held in the Victory Suite at the ground. If any dealer or local collector would like a stall, please email [email protected] for more details. Or call Chris Gibbs on 07761001079.

There are no plans to hold a History Day and Programme Fair at Portsmouth FC at the present time. I am not sure where this story started but neither Mick Hall, the current organiser, or Chris Gibbs, the previous organiser, have any plans to hold one.
There are several History related 'Pompey History Society' events planed, but no Fairs. Chris Gibbs.

My apologies Chris - I was told this by a friend last week who is a long standing Pompey fan and collector. Clearly he was mistaken.
