Hello everyone!

Football has been home to some truly legendary sponsorships over the years. From classic logos on jerseys to partnerships that defined entire eras, certain sponsors have become nearly as iconic as the teams themselves. Which sponsors do you think are the most mythical in football history? Are there any logos or brands that bring back special memories, or perhaps shaped your view of the game?

Here's an article to spark some ideas: sponsor historique du football

Looking forward to hearing your picks and stories about the sponsors that have left their mark on football![/url]

Palace have had shirt sponsors for 40 years now, I would say the most iconic is Fly Virgin - partly because of the successful team of the late 80's and early 90's but also because it was just such a noticeable big logo you couldn't miss

Other ones that stick in my mind are Sharp for Man Utd and JVC for Arsenal

and who could forget Brighton having NOBO on their shirts lol

The Milk Cup always holds with me for nostalgia but I do remember the Screen Sport Cup and Simod Cups. Great sponsers.

As for shirts, Crown Paints and JVC are iconic. Some more obscure ones I remember are:

Dr Martins - West Ham
Gulf - Swansea
No Smoking sign - West Brom
