The official reason for the abandonment of the game on 16 November 1929 between Arsenal and Middlesbrough wasn't heavy rain but the effects of it washing away the white lines on the pitch!

Are you sure about the Burnley one a they were in Division 2 in season 95/95 and I don't have anything for a game on that date?

12/12/93 Grimsby Town v Sunderland abnd after 6 minutes waterlogged pitch. 0-0 Championship.
28/12/98 Swindon Town v Grimsby Town abnd after 10 minutes frozen pitch. 1-0 Championship.
1/1/05 Rochdale v Grimsby Towm abnd H/T snow/ waterlogging 0-0 Division 4

I believe that the Sheffield Wednesday v Bristol City game was abandoned on January 20th 1973, because of snow.

Are you sure that the Everton v Newcastle game was abandonded?? Looking through the Toon Times, the game was listed as postponed on March 16th 1969 and the re-arranged game was played 14th April 1969.

I see your abandonments due to waterlogged pitches, fog and snow. Also Warnocks shenanigans with Sheff utd, even my examples of mass punch-up and hearse on the pitch and I raise you September 14 1940, Brighton v Portsmouth, in the war-time Regional League South, match abandoned due to air raid. I don't know if a programme was issued but well done if you have one.

I managed to find the West Ham v Grimsby 27th November 1948 game WAS abandonded because of fog.
