1888 Auctioneers Sale No.6 - New Auction date: Wednesday 12th October (start time 10am)

Due to logistical issues surrounding the Royal Mail strikes, we were concerned that these may have impacted the distribution of the brochure.

Then the sudden death of Queen Elizabeth II and her impending Funeral, means the office will be closed on Monday 19th September.

In addition, we will be travelling with England to Italy for the Nations League fixture, meaning the office will also be closed on Friday 23rd & Monday 26th September.

Having discussed the potential impact of the above, we made the executive decision to delay the Auction by Two weeks to allow maximum exposure of the catalogue for all.

We believe we have made the right decision and are now preparing the brochure to post to all our subscribers. These will be posted early next week (week commencing 19th September) as well as the on-line versions being up-loaded on-line.

The full catalogue and images of every lot will be hosted on www.easyliveauction.com by Wednesday 28th September.

Hi all, just want to thank everyone for the initial interest in the up-coming Auction, the response has been brilliant to date, but if anyone wants any extra information, images or further descriptions then please simply get in touch.

Just a reminder that we use www.easyliveauction.com for our on-line LIVE bidding on sale day. Easy Live Auction is exaactly the same as biddig with the Saleroom.com with pretty much indetical biddign platforms.

For those that may not have used Easy Live Auction yet, please take a quick read below as its a fantastic and easy way to bid from the comfort of your own home, office or when youre on the move....

Please visit www.easyliveauction.com to view the catalogue, images of every lot and to register to bid on-line. Search for our auction by name to see our latest catalogue.

To register for our auction, simply click on the green Register to Bid button where the catalogue is listed, or directly on the catalogue.

On the registration page, you will need to:
1. Sign into your account.
2. Verify your details.
3. Choose/add your card.
4. Choose your registration type.
5. Check your update settings.
6. Click Register to Bid.

If you choose the FREE registration type, you may see a 10p deferred payment on your bank statement.

Once you have successfully registered, the green Register to Bid button will then change to a 'Bid Now' button. Now you can leave Auto bids before the sale.

The day of the auction, you will also see a Bid Live button, however this will show as Bid Now until this point.

Registration Type

FREE Registration - A further 3% on the hammer price of all lots you win over and above the auctioneers normal Buyers Premium (18%).

Flat Fee of £3.00 - This is taken now by Easy Live Auction. You will not be charged any further premium on lots you win over and above the auctioneers normal Buyers Premium. NOTE: This fee will be taken regardless of whether you bid on / win lots.


Alternatively, if you wish to bid via commission bidding these can be sent directly to us and will attract no additional fee’s other than our standard 18% buyer’s commission fee.
