Lester Finch photographs

I was pleased to win one of the lots at the recent Graham Budd auction, which I received today. There are some lovely (non-action) photographs from the 1930s, wartime, 1940s and later, after he retired, including a couple of cricket photos. But I now have some questions! here are three of them.

The first is about the Scotland v England match at Inverness in 1934, see bottom photo. What was the status of it, when did it take place? LF played in the Amateur International that year at Hampden Park, so I'm tentatively guessing this was before or after that game?

For the other photo I am wondering if anybody recognises which ground in the Channel Islands this was taken at?

Lastly, the blurb describing the lot at the GB auction said he guested for Arsenal during the wartime, amongst various other clubs. I've not heard that before, does anyone have any information that confirms that to be correct?

I cannot see Finch mentioned as playing for Arsenal in Jack Rollin's Soccer at War 1939/45
