Looking for any information on Goole Town v Mansfield Town played 23 April 1953. Am led to believe that this was a Testimonial for Moss of Goole. Have tried British Newspaper Archives but found nothing.

Hi Grantham, thanks for the reply. I will be going through Mansfield Reserves once i have completed my check of 1st team matches 9 i currently have over 6,000 going back to 1897.

Although not v Mansfield, there was a Benefit match for Moss probably played on 27.04.53. If required, more detail can found be via the BNA in the 25.04.53 Star Green 'un on page 3.
