Hi all

I'm trying to put together as complete a programme run as possible of ALL Stirling Albion fixtures (home and away) since their formation in 1945 but I apprerciate there will be gaps given that clubs haven't always issued programmes.

For example, the Albion themselves didn't start until 1949 and then there was a small run of games in the nineties when they didn't issue when they were at their temporary home of Ochilview awaiting the completion of Forthbank

I also understand other teams like Forfar have been sporadic in their issues.

This has probably been discussed before my time on the forum but I wondered if there was someone/somewhere that held information as to when clubs did and didn't issue programmes in Scotland

Not looking for particular fixtures per say, more general such as a club didn't issue in seasons 81-82 through 84-85 etc.

Any assistance/guidance would be appreciated

I'm sure Programme Monthly did a good summary of Scottish teams and which seasons they did/did not issue - back in the 1980s from memory

Maybe someone on here could put their hands on this, otherwise try contacting John Litster via his website to see if he remembers which issue covered this subject

It was the centre page spread of Programme Monthly No. 333 that had all the Scottish teams and seasons produced.

Hi all

With thanks to various clubs, fellow collectors and club historians, i have made great strides in establishing whether or not programmes were issued for Stirling games, home and away since formation in 1945.

Im down to under 40 away fixtures that i still need to confirm.

They involve the following clubs

Albion Rovers
Arbroath
Cowdenbeath
Falkirk
Hamilton
Morton
Peterhead
St. Johnstone
Stranraer

All fixtures are from the 40s, 50s and 60s

Ive enquiries in with all these clubs but if there are any collectors of these clubs out there who think they can help, please get in touch.

Can anyone confirm programmes were issued for these:

02 Jan 1950 East Fife v Raith
10 Feb 1951 St Johnstone v Dundee (Scottish Cup R2)
12 Mar 1952 Motherwell v Rangers (Scottish Cup QF replay)
17 Mar 1973 Montrose v Dundee (Scottish Cup QF)

and not for these:

11 Mar 1950 Stenhousemuir v East Fife (SC QF)
25 Feb 1952 Arbroath v Rangers (SC R3)
02 Mar 1957 Dumbarton v Raith (Scottish Cup QF)
