Foul Football Fanzine

I have come across several editions of the Foul magazine. I believe some are worth at least £10+. Does anyone have any other information about these Magazine's and are they collectable.

I sold a near complete set last year on ebay for about £150 I think - they went up to about issue 35

I wouldn't say they are particularly collectable as they aren't specific to any one team but before selling I read through all of them again and they remain a good read in themselves

Foul was published between about 1972 and 1976 - towards the end they published a book which turned out to be their downfall. It included an article suggesting some well known journalists liked a drink - one of them sued and, lacking funds to defend itself, the magazine folded

Do you know what issue number it is. I have heard that issue 15 is the most wanted one for some reason.

The United relegation cover was issue 16

I saw the heading and assumed this was a West Ham fanzine from the Chicken Run

Here's the book published in the 90s featuring the Manchester United relegation issue on page 5.





Quite ahead of it's time with lots of risky content, there seemed to be a running vendetta against Don Revie!
