Due to heavy snowfall in January 1979 only 4 of the 32 3rd round FA Cup ties actually took place on the scheduled date of Saturday 6th Jan, the clash between Jack Charlton's Division 3 Sheff Wed side and the mighty Arsenal was one of the lucky games to escape the weather.
The games played out as follows:

Jan 9 1979 @ Highbury - Arsenal 1 Sheff Wed 1
