In 1957/58 the original date for the Man Utd v Sheffield Wednesday 5th round fa cup tie was 15 February 1958 and I have seen similar tickets, or part of similar tickets like yours, which have been claimed to be this very match. The low cost of the ticket (2/-) gives further evidence to pointing in that direction and I leave this opinion to be challenged if other factual information is out there.

Interesting, thank you!

This does indeed seem most likely, it’s not in great condition but must have some value?

Checks of the date 15th in Jan, Feb, Mar and April from 1954 to 1969 reveal the 15th Feb 1958 is the only possible date for an FA Cup tie for Man Utd
Checked conducted using the Soccer Base website:
https://www.soccerbase.com/matches/results.sd?date=1958-02-15

Just over a week after the Munich air disaster on the Saturday of the 15th , I travelled to Bolton to see my side Stoke City take on the eventual cup winners that season. I had arranged a lift with an older gentleman, who forgot to wake up in time and as a result, we arrived just on half time at Burnden Park. Taking ticket out of pocket it was quickly soaked by torrential rain and would have been very difficult to present at a turnstile, but no worry as a gate had been opened to let supporters out of the ground to let people go and seek a drier place. Stoke City lost, I think 3-1, and never again did I arrange to get a ticket for the gentleman in exchange for a lift. Can't believe that was over 60 years ago. And what is an unused ticket of that game worth today?
