Hi
I know that this has been covered before but with the exception of the brilliant Eamon Fitzmaurice are there any other paper restorers out there?
I have a 1923 fa cup final newspaper but the front page has a tear/hole and I would like to preserve the paper before it gets too fragile
Thanks for any help

Well he has a man who does it as a service repairing spines and bits like that, I do not know if he does anything more adventurous you would need to enquire, but I do not think there is anyone better than Eamonn in the trade.
Of course you can go to any number of paper restoration specialists but the level of pricing on a lot of occasions is more than the item is worth.

25 or so years ago he was given a newspaper by me in 8 pieces which i paid £1 for, £75 quid later I got what you can now see below and what is still on his website to this day, he is proud of it and so am I, only bought it for a quid for the headline!.

As headlines go, for a United collector, I doubt there's anything to match it!
