As collectors we often buy items on a whim, and then spend a period of time researching what your purchase is all about.

Below is a fabulous Season Ticket / Fixture List for Lumsden & Rouse Baily Football Club, from the Stock Exchange League 1920/1.

This is all quite straight forward until you notice that they played at White Hart Lane, Wood Green, N.

Is this this THE white Hart Lane, or another in North London?

Can anyone help me out?

Suspect it is the White Hart Lane (as in the road in North London) but not Spurs' stadium.

There is a current stadium on White Hart Lane which is where Haringey Borough FC play at present. Prior to Haringey, it was Wood Green FC who played here.

There's also another pitch further down the road which (from looking at Google Earth history mode) could well have been another small football ground.

I would assume that this team played at one of the two latter grounds.

According to Wikipedia

The club have played at Coles Park since their establishment; the ground had been home to Wood Green Town since 1930.
