Derby programme fair on 10th january 2010

Me thinks its a bit expensive at a entrance cost of 15 quid.

I think I'll pass on this one.

It's free from 11.30-3pm. The £15 ticket is for a breakfast with John McGovern speaking, that starts at 9.30am in Toyota Suite. Also includes early entrance by around 30 minutes to the Ramtiques Roadshow.

There will be valuers from Bonhams there, an exhibition by the National Football Museum and a few stalls, probably by Andy Ellis the organiser and I think Paul Bailey from Staffs.

It wasn't well advertised until this week and because of the late notice I've made other plans. Apparently there was one back in August as well but missed that too.

Aaah, if we were staying in Boro Saturday night instead of Friday I'd pop in on the way back. Never mind.

This is the second event, and I haven't been to either yet. If I had known a few weeks ago I might have been able to go. If it's successful hopefully there will be another one.

I know two of the dealers very well, and I can confirm that the event was cancelled earlier today due to adverse weather conditions - thats all I know

Derby County have confirmed the event is off, to be rescheduled in spring.
