I'll bet that nobody wants to be seen to be the first to make this decision because of the bad publicity which will surely come their way. When someone finally does break cover to announce they're cutting back on programmes, then no doubt others will soon follow.

A few have written firmly that they are doing them for definite, credit to Colchester and Oxford for passionate articles sticking up for programmes

News from the County Ground is that STFC are including complimentary programmes to those in the hospitality suites for the two friendly games already planned. Good indication that progs will be issued regularly next season

When I asked tranmere chairman whether tranmere will be issuing programmes this season I got a very short one word reply .. YES

Are programmes not compulsory in Check a trade/League Cup/FA Cup or do these fall under different rules, I thought check a trade and league cup were EFL rules ?

That was the one club I thought the most likely to abstain from issuing

They are not producing one for the WBA friendly tomorrow, someone has informed me today. I wonder if that's because of the 2 x 60 minute games they are playing against them. Will be interesting to see if they produce one for Portsmouth next week.

My club Oxford United have just confirmed that they are producing 2 programmes for every home game this coming season. One for home fans and one only available at the away turnstiles that will have a different cover and a few different bits of information in.

Going to be an expensive season for me then 😕

Boro did similar a few years back - it's this type of practice that is actually damaging collecting and smacks to me of Oxford trying to get as much as they can before dispensing with them.

Hopefully not starting today with the Palace game, could do without it TBH

They put something up on the club website yesterday about the programme for tomorrow's game as it's going to be our first home game. It stated in the article that it was only going to be for league games

Yep, only the one version today (phew), 2 versions is for League games

Palace did '2 different covers' nonsense for the last home game of last season, and some seasoned collectors got there quite early to make sure they got both versions. It's needless and cynical IMO

They’ve wanted to ditch programmes for the last couple of seasons - their pathetic attempt has been the bare minimum possible.
