Apparently The Duke of Kent officially cut the ribbon on the doors of the Orchard on April 14 1983. It appears events took place at the venue before that official opening, so I'll throw into the ring (pardon the pun) Wrestling?

Cannot imagine any sport in Dartford back in 1983 costing
£6.50 a throw, so probably is a play...

The Orchard actually opened in 1982, and did host a range of sporting events. No idea what they were tho Laughing
