Hole punched programmes

What a stupid idea that was!!!!

I mean seriously ... what were they thinking?!?

Did it myself when I first started collecting.
Stupid I know but I use the excuse that I was only 11.
Within a year I sussed out rhat it was a daft thing to do.

Along the same lines I cut up all the ram newspapers I had and stuck bits in scrapbooks.

I never hole punched mine but I certainly did write the score, scorers and tick the names of the starting line up on my programmes!

Come to look at them now 10 years later and feel gutted!

When I was younger I used to take the posters out of the middle of the programmes and stick them on my bedroom walls. Now most of my late nineties homes are missing their inset poster, or have had them tucked back inside them.

I just left mine in my parents loft for 15 years whilst living away and when I came back to get them, they had been ruined by damp!!

I should have stored them in plastic boxes rather than card!
