I picked up this little autograph book containing several Manchester United signatures. The guy I bought it from went to OT as a youngster and noted/dated some of the players names which helped. Some are also clearly legible - Best, Quixall, Crerand, Sadler, Connelly etc but I am struggling with the pictured ones. Any help or advice would as ever be greatly appreciated.

5th one looks like Pat Dunne - United goalkeeper around 1964-67

Not much help to you, but no.3 looks like Dave Sadler (centre-half) and no.5 looks like Tony Dunne (I think he's signed it A for Anthony). Just guesses mind.

Think there may be the odd away player in there too - top one looks a lot like John Quinn (Sheff Weds 1959-67).

I'll get my glasses but I think number 5 is PAT Dunne not Tony.Patvwas goalkeeper in the 60s.

The top one might be John Aston.

I thought that but John's A in Aston is very distinctive.It may of course changed.
Or maybe John Aston senior-apologies if that's what you meant!

If there is a Sheffield Wednesday connection then the fourth could be Peter Eustace.

And the last one looks like the infamous David Layne, also of Wednesday.

Infamous for being banned from the game for a time.
