Yeah bring him back - am missing him already Shocked

Seriously, show me where this "banter" was because as an earlier poster said, a more one-sided less communicative poster it is almost impossible to imagine.

I agree he could simply have been ignored but I shant miss him

Yeah some of his come backs on that thread and his witty retorts and his banter about other people's posts are classic ...

Oh, wait a minute ....

Very Happy

I think most people on the forum seem to agree that he was only on here for what he could get, and whilst I admire the more tolerant amongst you, he drove me mad!! I think you'll find that he only started to post stuff other than valuations wehn he was warned by Craig, when he ignored Craig, I think Craig made hie PM to the guy public, and only then did he even make the slightest attempt to contribute in any way to the forum. This forum is about helping people, and I have been the recipient on many occasions. But I showed my gratitude, and I also contribute what/when I can.

Things certainly won't be the same without him, comedy value i thought he was great but i'm glad he has gone - he can now go back to swapping stickers in the play ground, he may even get 2 stickers for the Hearts v Preston programme he had unsuccessfully sold on ebay although quote (his words not mine) ''did try ebay but nobody wanted it and now is a bit creased''

Arsenal288 - He was generally abusive to the mods and other people mostly because he failed to read how to use the website properly.

Tell me if I’m missing something here but why has he been banned Confused

How quick are people to jump on someone once they think they have found a target, It’s the internet FFS, If you don’t like a members post’s/thread then simply don’t open one or read them !!!

Mark,

Here is a copy of a message i posted the other day which basically explains why ive choosen to ban him;

Quote:
Reds4ever you have not even had the manners to respond to my PM or the public message i sent to you either which personally i think is disgraceful but im thick skinned and not bothered by that particually but its just gone on too long now.

People have said the forum is cliquey which i totally disagree with and think this is backed up by the fact that westyorksnffc has just said what he has said yet hes only been a member a short while and his post count only stands at 22. People are just getting annoyed by the manner of your posts. Ive recieved PMs from 4 different people and there has been public messages from about 6 or 7 people too. I know some people cant see anything wrong with what your doing but at the end of the day its causing a lot of friction on here which isnt a good thing and the members of this forum have put too much into it to just see the whole place divided by one person.

I know some people wont agree with me but i hope they can see that my comments only echo what the majority are thinking and im only looking after the best interests of the posters.

Bearing in mind that every time I log on he has been on line I suspect he will be back in one form or another. I have a feeling he was an over keen kid who wanted to try and mix in but could not see the errors of his ways.

Still its people who make you offers for stuff and then never pay that wind me up! I am hoping that I will not be reporting another to Craig in the near future, but have a feeling I might! Sad

Paulo, I've recently had exactly the same problem as yourself, with the person concerned not responding to pm's. Sad way to conduct oneself...

I think a lot of the ignoring pm's is down to the fact that people expect something for nothing and when you ask the going rate the easy cop out is to ignore pm's.

I know I offered a load......well 16......programmes to someone earlier this year, just general non league from the 80's at less than a quid each when postage was taken into account. The reply of 'can't you do them better than that' was followed by another offer and a promise of money 'when I get paid'.

I'm still waiting.
