Pinnace cards

I have been looking for something new to collect and in a box of tat at auction I found 300 / 400 Pinnace cards (don't get too excited they are all the small ones).

Looking at the Pinnace website I find that, allowing for variants, I have around 10%! So the question is, do I carry on collecting? Any opinions / advice welcomed.

If anyone has a job lot of the cards for sale at a reasonable price that may convince me to carry on collecting.

I wouldn't worry about the variants too much! As you know, there are 2462 small cards to collect. The majority are quite common and easily obtainable, especially if you can buy in bulk!

The difficult ones to pick up, I believe, are some of the rugby cards.

Mansfield Terrier could give more advice...

Wandererpaul.....Thanks for the reply.....just found the original thread on FCCM and am now aware that a "new" sales catalogue came out a short while ago (Not a catalogue I was aware of though) .....would appreciate a PM if any of my wants are in it!! Thanks for the assistance!

Received a nice surprise in the post this morning.......delivery from FCCM......



Manged to get hold of the "missing" four cards that have been alluding me for some time......that's the Portsmouth 1923 Pinnace Footballer Card set now complete!! (Well the small size card set!).

Many Thanks to Paul (WandererPaul) and Garry Daynes at FCCM for helping me complete the set!! Another example of why this forum is so helpful.....
