I want to make everyone aware of Dean Okeefe aka citydeno who has taken £395 off me after we agreed a deal on some rare City programmes.

I'd used him before to buy programmes for a much lesser amount and not had a problem so he had gained my trust. I stupidly transferred payment to his bank account and agreed a 'recorded next day delivery' option on 10/03/16 but he has decided against sending me the items.

He's now blocked/blanked my calls/emailemail. Dean lives in Stockport as I know a fellow Blue who has sent him items in the past.

I ousted Dean on some City sites we use and he then contacted me after a week of ignoring me asking me to remove the posts and to say he had proof of postage but has ignored all contact since.

If you know his address pay him a visit , knock on the door with 4 of your friends........failing that and you have proof of a "contract" via e-mails etc etc take him to the small claims court its cheap enougth if you have evidence, last port of call Judge Rinder

Four or five of us were caught out on here about two years back now in a similar sting. By letting folk know quickly we did manage to save one or two folk who had put cheques in and had the opportunity to cancel them.

Eternal vigilance seems to be a pre-requisite with such dealings nowadays unfortunately. For every 99 good deals there's bound to be one bad one, or probably much more if folk don't want to have their own particular circumstances known?

Although this forum's positives for collectors' far outweigh the negatives unfortunately I unwittingly pointed Mark towards this person on the strength of this information as I knew that Mark was looking for this particular programme. I feel bad that because the information I gave has resulted in this. Mark is an excellent Manchester City collector and I wish this hadn't happened to him. I suppose at some point he would have seen the post himself but I feel duped indirectly that I took the word of a forum member who seemed OK in the community.

Nothing to feel bad about at all mate - This scumbag had also contacted me as he noticed I was after that programme, I'd dealt with him before for much lesser amounts so he had already gained my trust before he moved in for the big one.

We spoke on the Thursday and done the deal, he knew I'd be away in Norwich for City's fixture from the Friday and I would have no idea if he sent it - He then contacted me claiming he had some other rare items and we agreed another deal on the Saturday while I was in Norwich, He even claimed he would send them on that Saturday so again I'd have no idea if he'd sent them - I then transferred more money to him when I got back Sunday on the assumption he'd sent them.

He did me for £250 on the Friday and £145 on the Sunday all via bank transfer.
