I just found a West Ham team photo from 1964 in a magazine I am listing and started to think about unusual team photos. I am sure there are loads out there.
Here's a couple to set the ball rolling.

In 1997 Crewe had to do their team photo in the stand as it was raining so hard on photo day...

sorry to interupt this thread but seeing the 2 Post Cards reminded me to enquire about this Portsmouth v Manchester United Postcard with action on the 12th January 1907

Has any Portsmouth collector got this card and if so would they consider selling for a pretty penny?.

Apologies that this one isn't football related but it is still relevant to the theme.

It's part of the New York Yankees line-up pictured in Boston Police Department (the Yankees / Red Sox rivalry is the most iconic sports rivalry in US sports) in 1931. The line-up includes 4 who would enter the Baseball Hall of Fame - Tony Lazzeri, Earl Combs, Red Ruffing and Waite Hoyt.

I was fortunate to buy the photo via Heritage Auctions circa 5 years ago.
