Sorry for the boring repetitive topic but I have been out of the game for about 2 years and not used Ebay much to sell. I can't believe some of the changes which makes it worthless selling small value items now!

Old Rules
For 99p auction 10p insertion fee
If item unsold got insertion fee credit back and could relist as much as you wanted for that one insertion fee
Charged 10% on item sale price only

New Rules
For 99p auction 35p insertion fee!
If item unsold twice (after 1 free relisiting) charged a second insertion fee of 35p to list again!
Charged 10% on both item sale price and postage

Do I have this right, makes no sense to sell small items now, Ive been stung for a pretty hefty fee after a lot of unsold items, I guess rids ebay of a lot of rubbish but bad news for me as I collect the small value modern items and people will be reluctant to list them under new rules I guess

You'll have to wait for sellers to take advantage of free listing days and other such offers.

You get 20 free listings a month now I believe.

+ the extra 100 I seem to be getting offered every 2 weeks.

I would rather they just gave 100 for the month to be used anytime. A real help would also be having a free scheduler on that 100.

There was a Free 100 listings on Saturday last 27th June for 4 days till midnight tonight ( 30th June ) but ............and its a BIG BUT ........you have to be invited .............so if you are starting again from scratch i rec on you will have to have a feedback of 40 plus to get the invite ...... and even then its all the same selling fees

out of the 800 feedback when was the last selling one actually received ????
Also i have feedback of 1597 .......I NEVER get an invite any more ............

its not an invitation by e-mail anymore

instead its simply promoted at the bottom of your seller page.

take a look next time you log on.

exactly ....they hope you will not see it or just ignore it like somebody above may have done .............
