LEEDS UNITED HOMES 1972/73

I am looking to complete a set of Leeds Utd Homes for the 1972/73 Season.

However, it is the 'Collectors Club' editions I am looking for. These programmes have a 'Collectors Club' token on the front page in place of the normal numbered token.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Clive,

Can you confirm that a collectors issue exists for all league and cup games for the season?

I have about 8-10 of these but after speaking with other collectors we don't have any before a certain game (can't recall which game it was) - meaning that there could be 'non issues' for about 5-7 games if memory serves me correctly.

I will send a list of what I have in my collection when I get home, most were brought from your website though. I only have one copy of each so unfortunately non for sale.

Hi Clive & Kenny,

The only 3 I have in my season set are Villa, West Ham & Plymouth.

Possibly doesn't help but if either of you are missing any of these 3 then at least you know they exist.

What was the Collectors Club ? I'm interested....

Leeds issues a slightly different cover without tokens but replaced with collecters club instead.
The content was the same throughout as far as I can see.

Hi Kenny,

You may be right, the earliest issue I have is Villa FLC (11 Oct 1972) and there were 8 home games before this date

WBA, Ipswich, Southampton, Norwich, Leicester, Liverpool Derby, Burnley FLC

Certainly the Stoke programme was one such. Number 21 I think.
I think they may have been printed for orders by post to stop the token being used, may have got that wrong though
