If there is a more meaningless statistic in football than the fifa rankings than I am yet to see it.

True, Newport County are currently the 5th best team in Europe, according to my drunken rankings.
I should know, I've worked them out.

It's only PSG & Chelsea's oil money stopping us from trampling all beneath us.

We're really looking forward to that trampling too.

Upshot is, rankings are a load of bollocks and we're shite.

Yeah I think you're right mate, got a bad feeling about this next year under Terry Butcher.
Poorly thought out appointment IMO.

Useless doesn't even begin to describe his stint at Easter Road. Unfortunately we didn't get rid of him until after he got us relegated. Sad
