London Programme Fair

I see there is a Programme Fair at The Royal National Hotel in London this Saturday. I also noticed someone on this list referrig to a Lndon Fair that had been moved to Sunday (Botanybaykid). So could someone confirm to me that it is on this Saturday, please.

I have not been to a Programme Fair for decades, so what should I expect? Will there be loads of programmes not readily found on ebay? Will it be London-centric or is it worth me coming to try and find missing Hull City programmes from the 1950s?

Will prices be better, the same or worse than ebay or the internet?

Basically is there anyone who can sell the idea of going to the Fair to me?

I've also never been to one but may go. Any chance of there being tickets and teamsheets from 1995 inwards, from what I can see so far will mainly be pre 1960s programmes with a southern bias

This fair is the biggest and best one staged each year.
There are plenty of dealers in attendance from the North and Midlands, although obviously most come from the South.
If you bring along several copies of your 'Wants List' most dealers will be happy to send you any items they have not brought with them to the fair once they return to their base.
It is well worth a visit - two of the big collectors in Plymouth only usually attend one fair per year, this one, and they will be there again on Saturday!

I think the link above for list of dealers has their email address on it.

I emailed all the stall holders and I think all replied, even if its to apologise they can't help in what I'm looking for. Others are now bringing stuff with them that they may not have thought of bringing.

Worth giving them a shout.

My honest opinion - I love going to this event and always seem to find something.
All the dealers are friendly and approachable so worth putting names to faces etc - like Peter said its worth letting people know what your looking for and leaving your details with them.

I will be the fat balding bearded bloke wearing shorts (and a t shirt in case that puts you off) - say hello if you spot me!!
