England's young stars are looking very promising at the moment, and a number of them could shine at the next Euros. Honourable mentions go to Mason Greenwood, Jack Grealish and Aaron Wan Bissaka but I would like to spotlight these three: Mason Mount, Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho. These three are favourites to feature in the England squad, with many bookmakers like findbettingsites.co.uk and Bet365 giving offers to customers looking to bet on squad selections.
Mason Mount
Mason Mount is a nineteen-year-old midfielder from Chelsea. He made his competitive debut in August 2019 but has been a staple of Frank Lampard's starting eleven since then. He is part of a cohort of young and exciting English players, and his partnership with Tammy Abraham in particular has led to 6 goals and 4 assists in 25 games. He has a few appearances for England's senior team and will be hoping that he can make a proper impact on an England side that isn't bursting with creative midfielders. Whilst his defensive contribution is slightly lacking, his set pieces are a big asset to his game, and his quick, short passing can open up defences. He is very composed on the ball and will often not take an easy shot in order to try and put in a key pass, and he is most certainly one to watch.
Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka is an eighteen-year-old winger for Arsenal, who has been filling in at left-back. He was virtually unheard of before this season but has commanded a starting position in the side. He has played left-back due to injuries however his defensive game has been good there; he's contributed massively to attacks and allows the Arsenal attack to overlap defences. He has scored two goals and assisted four in six games in the Europa League, and has managed a couple of assists from left-back as well. Although he has never been picked for England, he will definitely be on Gareth Southgate's shortlist for Euro 2021. Saka's play has been thoroughly impressive, rarely losing the ball either with passing or dribbling. His crossing has been very effective and allows Aubameyang to shine. Arsenal are another team with another of exciting English players breaking through the ranks and Bukayo Saka is the best of the lot.
Jadon Sancho
Jadon Sancho is a twenty-year-old winger for the German team Borussia Dortmund. Except for an injury ruining his season, it seems impossible he won't be on the starting team in Euro 2021 for England. Every season, this man has gotten better and better, with 12 goals in 34 games in 2018/2019, and 14 goals in 23 games this season. His lightning fast pace is matched by his lightning fast feet, and defenders can't keep up with him. It has been a common sight to see Jadon Sancho streaking away from defenders in the Bundesliga this season, and he has been to humiliate players with his unbelievable skill. He already has some experience at an international level, scoring a total of two goals in eleven appearances. His game doesn't only involve scoring however, and he has bagged a massive 16 assists in the Bundesliga this season, which is more than he's scored, and he's the only player with over twelve goals and assists in all five top leagues. Jadon Sancho may be already be world class, and he'll only get better.
