we did this quite a bit for all ticket matches in the 1980's... Manchester City, Manchester United, Leeds United spring to mind.

Andy, Thanks for the reply. Can you clarify why the ticket states "special match" for these matches?

As far as I'm aware, the club got a load printed and would stamp the opposition on the front. Presumably a money saving exercise as pre-Jack Walker the club was on it ass in the early to mid 1980's
