I see the slimy toad of a player Tevez .holds up a poster "R.I.P Fergie"on the Manchester City victory parade.Argentinian prat!!!
Tevez is allowed to take a 5 month break to practice his golf in BuenosAires, and comes snivelling back to Manchester because nobody would buy him.Good standards he sets I dont think! No

His agent will say he didn't understand,he has always loved West Ham!!Sorry meant City.
Also he loves his wife.Sorry ex wife and his kids as well. What were the names again!
He will kiss the badge and dedicate something to the fans.
It's amazing how many "bits of friendly" banter the prick gets involved in isn't it.
From a United point of view it gives us hope that whilst the little tosser is with City along with Balotelli there is hope yet for an implosion again that almost cost them the title.
As i keep saying City have undoubtably the best players in the Premier league but they have a non ending knack of upsetting people.
I personally would have expected them to set a dynasty now such as Liverpool,Arsenal and Manchester United have set over the years but will they be a Chelsea(Good and almost but not consistent) or a Blackburn Rovers(one season wonder).
It's a question that only time itself can answer but City have never had a better chance of imposing themselves on world football than they have now.
The City fans truly, and rightly believe this is here to stay and the United fans are upset that they have lost to City. They wouldn't have been upset if it had been Arsenal or Chelsea or Spurs as you can't win it every year can you.
As an old fool i just smile and wait to see.
They have set new standards of what's expected of them trophy wise.
They have set new standards of what they will forgive and forget just to win.
As said earlier do they have class.?Well that's a big big question.
They do have quality but do they have class.
Fergie has shown how to handle misdemenours.
Gone Beckham,Stam,Ruud just to name a few of quality who have stepped out of line.
You can throw out as many one liners mind games quotes as you like that make him look foolish but i don't think he cares does he.
His biggest problem is insuring all his winners medals from his league titles, his cup wins, his world championship wins etc etc etc etc etc.
It will be a nice summer for the blue half of Manchester but what will next winter bring.
It might not be United alone that challenge them next season.Arsenal are strengthening as are Chelsea.United won't go down without a fight either.
And to help all along the way is the 2 City dickheads who are still, for the moment anyway entrenched inside the Trojan horse.
The Ciy fans don't know whether to cheer the 2 or chase them away do they.

So we see Laughing

I don't care much for Man City or Tevez or Balotelli or whoever, but they obviously get under the skin of some people. particularly those from the red half of the city which is never a bad thing Wink

R.I.P is a sentiment which is used when there has been a bereavement!
No excuses for Tevez ,he has lived in this country for 6 years ,with the odd five months or so playing golf in Buenos Aires. He knew what it meant ,it was in bad taste. Not a matter of getting under the skin of the Red half of Manchester. He was obviously given the poster, and he should have ditched it.As for Fergies quote of Top Dogs, what he said that city would never overhaul Uniteds trophy count in his lifetime.Lets have it right, they wont will they?, as Fergie, and me for that matter are both 70 years old!
As for the poster ,city were sensible enough to issue an hurried apology,so presumably they too considered it in bad taste. No doubt Tevez will move on to pastures new when he gets fed up with Manchester , which he has already insulted. There are times when you cant defend the indefensible!!! No

Afraid the question was 'Would United ever go into a Derby as underdogs?' - Looks like the banner, although not in good taste, was correct in that sense.

Not in my lifetime he said, RIP Alex Neutral Wink

It's amazing.
City buy one title and all the ABU's appear out of the woodwork.
This may be the start of a dynasty but it may not be.
Only time will tell.
My lifetime experience tells me City are there to be shot at.
United are desperate for new owners as opposed to the blood suckers we now have and this title loss could be the start of something very big for United.
If the support(and the cash) drop off the Glazers will be forced to sell which will leave the way open for more rich folk who either love United or hate City or hate Abu Dhabi or who just want to prove a point to invest.
Let's be honest about this does anybody really believe the Abu Dhabi lot like City,Manchester or even England.
It is a brand exercise to show how good their money and country is.
They could have chosen Wigan or Bolton or Aston Villa or QPR and got the same result.
Then different people would have been wearing tea towels wouldn't they.
If the Glaziers sell and say the Sultan of Brunai buys then it is balanced again isn't it Wave Wave Wave

Glad you admit it was in bad taste ,pity you spoiled it with your version of R.I.P.Still enjoy the moment of euphoria, you have waited long enough.
Still wondering why city couldnt wait to issue an apology though?

I know I can't be alone in thinking that them media circus that envelopes the Manchester City / United circus is fairly nauseating, and has nothing at all to do with serious journalism, just an excuse to make a quick buck.
R.I.P. Fergie. So what? It wasn't a death wish, it was somebody expressing a view that his reign was passing. If we go back in our footballing history there are numerous examples of mourning cards issued by a club's fans / or opposition fans to "commemorate" a bad result. These peaked in the 1920's, 90 years back, and are now very collectable.

I've said it on here many times before, but thick as mince footballers think because they earn a fortune every week that they somehow equate that with intelligence. The press, eager to feed the "fans" of the Premiership are more than happy to indulge them as they always do, and then shoot them down in flames when it suits them. It's got nothing to do with being newsworthy...for heaven's sake, it even made the BBC news. How come crap like that is deemed newsworthy?

Prefer blow football myself....but that's just an opinion Very Happy

".....all the ABU's appear out of the woodwork".

I am not sure the ABUs are much in hiding, they are pretty evident most of the time and all just waiting to knock the arrogant bullshit that comes from OT down manu throats. The put downs and even insults etc are frequent enough from Fergie and others (including the fans) yet suddenly everyone gets all sensitive now. Just because large parts of the media and FA are prone to putting manu on an untouchable pedestal it doesn't mean everyone else has to follow suit.

I am sure if you analyse the Tevez banner as a piece of literary work then yes it is out of order but everyone knows that it was a jokey banner suggesting the end of fergie's dominance and not some kind of South American fatwa. So lets just get real.

i didn't think i'd ever hear anybody defend that greedy sod Tevez.
The ABU's didn't go away.
Most have turned then unturned then turned on their own clubs in turn.
Liverpool turned on Hodgson and got rid of him then got Dalgleish who did worse and has now gone so he has to go or does he have to stay?
Spurs have had a great season under Harry but now need Chelsea to do them a favour by losing.
Chelsea have had a poor season by their standards in the league but have looked superb the last 2 months especially in the cup so they want the manager to stay or do they want him to leave?
And as for Arsenal.Well once again they have won nothing and this time it is fair they never looked like winning anything.A good run at the end put them into a distant 3rd(just about). They started the season wanting a manager who has had them in the champions league for so many seasons to leave. Then they didn't want him to leave. Now they definately want him to stay don't they?
What happens in RVP goes to Manchester City(as he might) or somebody else and Arsenal don't start well again.
I wonder what goonerboy will say about banners and lierary then.
You have to win things to be hated in England.
That's why everybody admires Arsenal's football.

Actually not sure majority of people hated derby or forest or villa or even liverpool (except directly rival fans) when they were winning things. So yes there is some jealousy but that is not the whole story. Manu hardly won a thing over 20+ years in the 70s and 80s but I don't remember affection rising for them. I think the dislike for manu transcends merely being successful.

I am very glad that arsenal's football is so admired because I enjoy watching it as well.

I just can't work why the ridiculous over sensitive reaction. I have seen on ebay tons of badges or teeshirts with similar sentiments between rival clubs (not just manu). Are there really people who think Tevez was actually signifying that Fergie was about to die or that he was dead or wanted him dead ? Is this sensitivity really coming from a club who were very happy to have their fans chant abusive accusations at wenger year after year and said nothing for years ?

I agree that as banners go it wasn't even that witty or original or intelligent but surely not cause for the hysteria
