Absolutely terrible news

John's son Shaun has just posted

Heartbroken to be writing this, but sadly dad passed away today. He passed painlessly and peacefully with family by his side in the early hours of this morning.
Rest in peace.

RIP John Holroyd.

John was, as others have said on here and elsewhere, a top bloke and he will be very much missed. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
