Hi all as a buyer of expensive and brittle old programmes that have up until now stood the test of time and survived the last hurdle they have to face is me opening the hard backed envelope and inserting it into a safe binder where they shall rest until I’m up on my cloud and they’ve been passed down. Trouble is 90% of items received are generally wrapped in a complete roll of scotch tape to the point where opening them becomes a problem I’ve spent up to 30mins on occasion opening one of these and trying not to damage what’s inside and it’s a pain in the arse how some of these turn up stupidly over sealed .im all for protecting what’s being sent but when they are wrapped like this you could be defeating the object at my end of things so please gents if you’ve read this please don’t wrap it to the point that the bomb squad would have their work cut out opening it ok right moan over thanks for reading xx

Couldn't agree more Jim. I think some eBay traders have shares in Sellotape plc.

Card mailer and poly mailer is enough for all my postings, had very few complaints over the years. Card keeps it rigid, poly keeps it dry

100% agree

I'm now selling rather than buying so everything I sell is packed as follows

- A4 or A5 board backed envelope
- One piece of cellotape to reinforce the seal
- The programme or ticket is placed carefully inside a Secol polyester pocket
