Further changes:
New Twitter page created (@FBallProgrammes)
All ads are now automatically posted to Twitter to increase the visibility.
New Events page added for Programme Fairs, etc. Please message me with any requests to have your event put on this page (free)

More things added:

Events page now functional
Private Messaging with messages shown in the user's dashboard in the bottom right. Any registered user can PM another from the contact section of the advert. It is not possible to contact another member out of the blue, only advert replies are possible. Email sent to users registered email address on new message.
All ads listed now get posted to our twitter account and Facebook page for maximum exposure.

The twitter account is driving some good traffic to the site.

Hi Mark, one more question for you.

If an items sells on your site then it can be marked as SOLD.

However the same item sells through another website, should the item on your site be marked as sold, or simply deleted ?

Please advise, many thanks

Hi

I will clarify this on the FAQ page as I realised it is a little bit of a grey area.
The mark as sold is designed to be used when you have a 'verbal sale' - where someone has said they want the item, but not physically bought it yet. An item marked as sold will still show in the lists, but with a header that its been sold. It can be unmarked as sold if, and it does happen, the sale falls through.
Once an item has sold, been paid for and gone you delete it. This removes it from the front end of the site totally. You cannot then undelete an item, so this is much more final.

From what I can see, there have been a handful of sales. The traffic to the site is slowly increasing, and an advert is going in Programme Monthly next month. Keep the faith!!
