Germany vs. Aston Villa 1938

I have a question about the programmes issued at the Aston Villa Germany Tour in 1938.

There were three games between a German Select XI. and AVFC

15.05.1938 in Berlin
18.05.1938 in Düsseldorf
22.05.1938 in Stuttgart

For years I thought there is only one programme issued for the first game. (A5 32 pages) But last week I could find an issue for the third game. Same cover and size but with 40 pages. The eight more pages have a roman count (I. to VIII.). Different fotos, different line up and also different advertisment on the backside.

Does anybody know about an issue for the seccond game?

Many thanks for the scan.
It looks like an addon to the main "brochure" but whatever the case I think you`ve unearthed something of a historical gem.
I`ve never seen it before or indeed anything specific to the 2nd game Villa played on that tour.

Hi

it´s not just an add on of eight pages in the center. Also many pages, pictures and adverts of the regular 32 pages are different.
So these two items are realy two different programmes and the
seccond one can´t be pimped by just adding the 8 center pages.

Let´s see if laterone some other Villa colletors have more infos.
