Hello all - I have an extensive programme collection and looking to catalogue them.

Instead of just using an excel spreadsheet, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on software that they use to catalogue a collection?

Thank you in advance.

Have a look at the database John Litster is offering on:

http://www.pmfc.co.uk/html/database.html

I have not used it but other forum members may be able to comment on its functionality.

I use Microsoft Access. It's better for sorting and filtering plus it can be exported into excel if required.

I use my own site www.thefootballarchives.com

It has a simple tick system to record if you went to the match and have a programme, it then displays totals of each and will shortly be able to generate a 'wants list' based on the seasons you collect and haven't ticked.

If a game doesn't exist in the database (just over half a million do) we can quite easily add the match in question, all we need is date, comp, teams and scores
