The holy grail for Jambos is the Standard Leige away match in The European Cup, our first game in Europe, we lost 5 - 1. That prog cost me £... I better not say but it was A LOT. The best of it is I cant understand a word of it. Would I sell it .....Yes. I also bought Hearts first prog after the war v Kilmarnock 1946, that was very dear as well but I would not sell that one.

1909 cup final programme from crystal palace that does not cost £27,000!. The menu for the dinner in Belgrade when United played Red Star in 1958. Any United home pre 1910 and a Newton Heath home programme.

That little lot would cost a few bob so if any of you have any of them can we arrange easy terms! Laughing

I guess the "holy grail" would be a mint copy of the first programme Derby ever issued or any of our pre-WW1 FA Cup Final appearances - but, being realistic I'd say, for me, it's a toss-up between:

55/6 Barrow v Derby (single sheet issue. I've never seen this for sale anywhere, ever)

76/7 AEK Athens v Derby UEFA Cup (another s/s issue printed on paper so thin it's transparent. I believe this was free and only available in the main stand. Copies were laid on each seat by the ground staff in advance of the gates opening so a lot/most would have fallen on the ground or blown away, so thin were they. I know 1 or 2 found their way back to the UK, though!)

Barcelona V Sheffield Wednesday 1962. It's available but it doesn't come cheap. At all. Hopefully i'll own one within 10 years though...

1921/22 Darlington v Halifax (1st Football League match for Halifax) - I know one exists for sure

Plus these friendly matches from the 1969 European Tour, if any exist,
although i doubt it very much,

1969 US Namar (Belgium) v Halifax Town
1969 Havange (France) v Halifax Town
1969 Jeunesse (Luxembourg) v Halifax Town

Plus the 1958 European Cup Final official programme last one needed to complete collection

I thought it was at Bramall Lane way back in the 1890s - though that was a rather experimental affair!

A 1920/21 Palace home programme would be brilliant. Palace's first season in the football league, and we were 3rd Division champions that season too.

I have got an away from that season (@ Gilingham) but a home would be just stunning!

(wouldn't complain if I could get anything older too, but really not holding my breath!!!).

Northampton v Crewe Alex single sheet 13.9.60 - only ever seen it come up once and went for silly money.

Any pre-war Stevenage programmes would be great, I've only ever seen one which was in incredibly poor condition and went for £90.

Mine would be the 1901 f a cup final programme played at the Crystal Palace, sadly if one came up it would be too expensive for me anyway, and i don`t believe a programme was produced for the replay at Burnden Park, otherwise an itinerary card from the 1909 f a cup final
