The one that went at auction for charity sold for £1900.

After that some were released at £100 a pop on a first come first served basis, I heard rumours of 60 issues. This will go for a few quid I'm sure, postponed games again, are they really worth collecting?

There were 100 copies that were not destroyed.

One sold for some crazy price as the other member stated correctly.

The club then decided to sell via a 3rd party each one for a £100 pounds and give the money to charity, they also gave the bidder with the crazy offer his money back less £100 too.

I am aware the person who was entrusted to sell them then did so on a one only basis and offered them to City and United collectors-perhaps some got more than one?.

As regards asking the question are Postponed programmes they worth collecting the answer is on ebay, 21 bids at nearly £200 with a cover price of £6 and allowing for the fact it most definately cost £100 the facts speak for themselves.

Postponed programmes vary in importance, some re Manchester United can be found easilly and regularly from the 1960's, but anything pre 1960 will cost serious money-only recently a 1969-70MU v Leeds sold for £1600 and others from around the same period will be no less with just an odd exception here and there.

All about personal preference, some will only collect matches played others will want everything and including programmes that were printed but the game was never played like the 1968 European Cup Final at Arsenal in 1968, only 2 copies have turned up in all this time-now there is a 3rd and the estimate is £3-5k so it is anyones guess where it will end up but sell it will!.

What the City postponed v United from the other year is worth paying up too-is a matter for you and your pocket and no one else surely.
