I know he is disliked by alot of people in the football community but you have got to think where some of these players would be if it wasn't for Evans. |

i don't know much about the crawley players nor steve evans (except the dodgy stuff in the press)....however the club has achieved a lot in the last few years and you have got to give the manager credit. |

Lets be honest about this, it was done by the players in an enclosed area, and one of them has leaked it out either on purpose or on accident. How many of us have been in workplaces where everyone has slagged of a boss/manager etc????
To be fair a lot of those players were league two players before Crawley offered them much better wages to drop down into the conference to get Crawley promoted so they are more or less where they were before Crawley signed them. The whole team ethic when i saw them play last month was to wind up, antagonise and incite reaction from opposing players and fans, they must have wasted a good 20 minutes of the game, messing about at throw in's, goal kicks, free kicks etc. It will be interesting to see if they are still a bunch of aholes now that Evans has left or if they try to play football now. |

Give the manager credit? It's not hard to get promoted when you are spending as much as they have. The sooner Crawley go bust the better, in my opinion. |

To be honest, I don't think you should asking where they would be if it wasn't for Evans. You should be asking where they would be if Crawley hadn't spent all this money in the last couple of years. |

Come on you have to give the coaching staff some credit, money doesn't buy success.
Great individuals don't necessarily make a good team, but it does help. |

You're right, money doesn't always buy success. But Evans only seems to do well when he has loads of money i.e. Boston and Crawley. Oh and I'd rather not give any credit to a criminal
This is obviously just my opinion though. |

I think the only thing you can give Evans credit for is managing to evade the law for so long and then managing to remain in football. I think he's related to Jeffrey Archer. _________________ PLEASE check out my Prostate Cancer UK charity auction page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1550474568596587/ |

Me too, living in Rotherham I know a few mucky millers, according to them Rotherham had the biggest wage budget in the division this season and they're planning to spend even more next season
It will all end in tears in a few years when they go into administration (again) and hopefully crash into the conference. |
