does anyone know anything about athletics from the early 60s. as I have a signed athletic and cycling programme from wolves. the people are from the north, south and midlands and has been signed by 33 people

If there is a list of competitors compare the signatures to that and then google the names. If the competitors 'made it' then there will be something on the internet about them and you can work out if the programme is worth something.

wrong person pete this one took part in the high jump. found some one called d jones who was part of the birchfield harriers 4x 110 yds relay.
also found ken Matthews http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Matthews

I could name a few other athletes from that era (late 50's/early 60's)

Gordon Pirie
Paul Nihill
Mary Bignall (later Mary Rand)
Lynn Davies
Ann Packer (mother of the Man City Brightwell boys)

No idea if they are in this programme though unless you tell us.

looks like all the autographs are signed by men. there is also mike ?, rex ? nick ?. do you know what SAAA stands for
