Headington Utd Reserves West Ham 'A'
West Ham 'A' Newbury Town

Metropolitan League dates as follows

West Ham v Chelsea 14/09/1959
Chelsea v West Ham 06/02/1980

They also met in the Metropolitan League Professional Cup final

1st leg Chelsea v West Ham 23/04/1960
2nd leg West Ham v Chelsea 02/05/1960

03/09 was for the Met.league.

Combination game at Stamford Bridge was played on the 20/09

Andy,according to a Hastings Utd programme from April 1960 both of the Met Lge games between Hastings and West Ham were played at Hastings that season.It would seem that Hastings home match was played on 22 August 1959 and what should have been the game at West Ham on 11 April 1960.

Just checked a Headington Utd programme from 59/60 and can confirm 3 Oct 59 Headington 3 WHU 1 in the MLCC.
The fixture list shows both Met lge games to be played at Headington on the 16 and 30 April 60 but unable to confirm if the matches were played on those dates.

Hi Andrew.

West Ham 'A' Played Tonbridge on 16th and so the Headington match was played on 18th.
I have nothing down for the 30th, so have Penciled it in, waiting for confirmation.
