Ive seen some wonderful photos on another thread of study-type collector's rooms, which are marvellous. Most of us don't have that kind of space to dedicate to our collection. So I was thinking, maybe the shed's the answer.

I love a nice shed, they're great places.

Does anyone keep their programmes in one? How do you deal with possible damp? Security?

Check out the 'Finding Room To Store Your Collection' thread. You'll find on there a chap by the name of Grantham who has a 'log cabin' in his garden.

Thanks for the heads-up. Class thread that. Some great pics.

My mistake too. Obviously it's a log cabin, not a shed. Us northern rugby league types are still evolving.

Shed or garage are not good!

As already stated damp wud b a massive problem!

Also insects and other creatures of the wild would come crawling in to make themselves a home in ur collection.

Really need to store collection in a room with a fairly constant temperature and low humidity! Also avoiding sun light!

I have to admit though finding somewhere like that in ur home hard!
