Who were the manufacturers of the football cards (not stickers but actual cards) that used to be so popular in the early 70s. They came 4 or 5 to a pack with a piece of gum that was as hard as a rock.

Ive got some that say topps chewng gum inc

But didnt abc do some as well

they were A&BC and Topps

Anglo Confectionery and Monty Gum were also fairly popular as well, but not as much as the above two companies.

In fact one of the companies (cant remember which one) actually stopped putting the gum in the packs as it was staining the cards so they were selling gum packs without the gum !!
