Local antiques shop has a very good condition book of "Wolves-The first 80 years" looks like printed in mid to late 50's.

Anyone any ideas of what its worth?

Wolves were founded in 1877, so 80 years takes you up to 1957. Then a year or so to write/publish the book.

Remember seeing the book for sale in the Oxfam book shop down Byres Road in Glasgow a few years back at £30. Make sure the book that's being offered is not a Sporting Book Club edition as this would render it virtually worthless in terms of collectability. If it's just a book for reading you're after SBC books are fine, but if you're looking to buy to pass on for profit sometime it has to be an original.

Lion Books .co.uk have avail on site ....The Wolves-The First Eighty Years (Stanly Paul 1959) First Edition on offer at ...... £40,Used?. Good site this have had several Wolves related books from them top guys.Recomended.
