A good-looking fellow - but who is he?

Label has been mostly torn off, residue says MOCKBA but the name & date are missing. Stamped Planet News. Kit looks 40's-ish although I think they didn't change much in Russia over the following decade.

All help appreciated as always. Google hasn't helped much!

Looks like one of he players from the 1945 British tour v Chelsea etc,

He is very similar to the Moscow Dynamo player of the 50s Alekper Mamedov. But I'm not 100% sure.

Sorry but he wasn't on the 1945 tour, he started playing for Dynamo in 1954. So he's not in the Alamy photo.
