Just wanted to share an experience I had with the auction house recently. I bought a number of lots from the September auction and the goods didn't arrive. It was refreshing to see the reaction I got when I questioned the late arrival. My correspondence was immediately looked into, the fault lieing with the courier not leaving a card through the door. A member of the team delivered my parcel personally! I was very impressed with this. Also I have noted that the auction house is happy to deliver at a very reasonable cost unlike some houses that either won't deliver or charge extortionate rates.
I am aware that cameo had a few teething problems at the last auction and I thought it only fair that I highlight how a relatively small auction business has given up their time and expense in a good old fashioned way by adding a personal touch to what could have been an infuriating issue.
So fair play to cameo and thank you.

Nowadays, if you have a problem with any company , you normally have to press 1 for this service, two for that, three for this, four for that, then you listern to music for half an hour until you finally speak to some one in bloody India. Good old fashioned service dealing with humans is what we need...

The items I bought from them at the last auction arrived safely, well packed, and at cost - which I too was impressed with. Did the cricket programmes live up to expectation Stephen?

I would also like to add that Cameo are so helpful and i have always had a smooth transaction with them. Carlsberg dont do auctions but if they did....!
