The beat Luton in the play off final yesterday on penalties. A new ground for me to go to next season.

I went yesterday as a Luton fan. Feel devastated today, worse than I did last night driving home. As for AFC, welcome back and good luck to the real Dons. Such a shame yesterday was so poorly attended, someone needs to learn lessons from the whole thing yesterday, pricing & location DO matter. As for my team, well at least I have the summer months to lose this feeling. Who ever invented play offs????

I was there yesterday and still can't believe it! Luton should have won it at the end of 90 mins, Wimbledon should have won it at the end of ET, and penalties are the most nervewracking experience I've ever witnessed at a football game in this country.

I still can't believe we're back in the Football League Cool

Nice one Wimbledon welcome back, just one division away from the imposters, good luck for next season.

As for the cost of the playoffs the price structure is totally crazy for a country in recession. I dont know the cost of the Conference Final tickets, but the cost of tickets of the League 1 playoff final at Old Trafford is higher than for a Man Utd league game. Prices are £30,£40, £50 and £60. The £30 tickets are 3000 of our allocation, the FL or whoever decide on these prices are being really gready and relying on the fans not wanting to miss their teams game of the season, then to add to it all you can only get tickets from ticketmaster with their booking fee another £4 a ticket and then post costs on top.

Cheapest ticket yesterday was...................£36, plus £3 admin fee plus £2.25 postage, so in reality £41.25. Madness.

Yesterday we were given the choice of £36 or £41 seats, followed by a £3 per ticket booking fee, plus choice of £2.25 1st class or £5.25 special delivery. We brought 9 tickets in a block, and had the £27 booking fee, which was ridiculous. As for £2.25 for a 46p stamp, well..........

And worth every penny.

In retrospect.

Albeit a stupidly expensive price for a non-League game.

For me one of the only things about getting relegated that is not so bad, is that we will be playing the proper Wimbledon and not the Franchise version.
Welcome back Wimbledon.
